L1 portable line array systems provide an approach to live sound's different systems. Using exclusive Bose® technology, the L1 System combines PA and monitors into one highly portable unit. The loudspeaker can be positioned behind or to the side of the player and you hear what the audience hears. L1 has a unique and very effective vertical design system:
A small speaker column is located close to a slim enclosure: the L1 loudspeaker projects sound waves forward and sideways giving 180 degrees of coverage but very little up and down, reducing unwanted space echoes. Enlarged sound spreads more evenly across the stage and to the audience, and the volume level drops much slower than with conventional speakers. Light weight, interlocking components are easy to transport and regulate. And a specific vertical loudspeaker is not needed to stand separately.
