The Raychem BCAC Bushing Connection Animal Cover BCAC-G-5D/8 is designed to prevent animal-induced blackouts in equipment mast-top transformers from 15 kV to 36 kV.

The BCAC -5D enclosure uses a scissor action design to allow direct attachment to the closing bushing around the bushing.
