Load Breaker Switch LBS 24 kV
The Sulfur Hexafluoride (SF) gas-insulated Load Break Switch (LBS) is a protective device used for switching current in the event of overload fault. During switching operation, whether opening (breaking) or closing (making) contacts, current is carried through an arc, and a transient recovery voltage (TRV) is formed across the contacts. SF gas, having excellent dielectric and arc quenching properties, innovatively and efficiently extinguishes the arc from full load interruptions.
Fitur load breaker switch :
pole-mounted SF LBS, for overhead lines, operates at voltages up to 24kV. The LBS can be operated manually, or motorized either automatically or by remote control, depending on the customers’ power line demands. The LBS unit is fully protected by a stainless-steel enclosure, which can withstand corrosive, heavily polluted, and demanding environmental conditions.
